Publisher's summary

He'd never wanted anyone enough to chase them...until he met her.

Charming, easygoing, and rich beyond belief, Xavier Castillo has the world at his fingertips.

He also has no interest in taking over his family’s empire (much to his father’s chagrin), but that hasn’t stopped women from throwing themselves at him…unless the woman in question is his publicist.

Nothing brings him more joy than riling her up, but when a tragedy forces them closer than ever, he must grapple with the uncertainty of his future—and the realization that the only person immune to his charms is the only one he truly wants.

***

Cool, intelligent, and ambitious, Sloane Kensington is a high-powered publicist who’s used to dealing with difficult clients.

However, none infuriate—or tempt—her more than a certain billionaire heir, with his stupid dimples and laid-back attitude.

She may be forced to work with him, but she’ll never fall for him…no matter how fast he makes her heart beat or how thoughtful he is beneath his party persona.

He’s her client, and that’s all he’ll ever be. Right?

King of Sloth is a steamy forced proximity romance. It's book four in the Kings of Sin series but can be listened to as a standalone.

What Ana Huang does best!

Hands down has the best endearments, confessions and apologies. It is everything I love in a romcom movie, but with better spice. 😉

Grump works with sunshine

This is refreshing, the leading woman Sloane Kensington is the grump and Xavier Castillo is the laid back sunshine. Both have trouble relationships with their fathers. Sloane is the family’s pr agent. Hired to deal with trouble people who some how attracts trouble and she is the clean up. Xavier the playboy party goer who some how doesnt want responsbility. Well he doesnt want his fathers multi million company. But, due his fathers health he must decide, well forced and things take a wild turn. The once playboy/ partier comes to responsibility and now know what he wants. He gets the help from Sloane and her friends and their significant others. Can they work together? I dont want to ruin anything.. but lord do i love this series..

Emotional and intense

Watching Sloane fall in love was amazing. It was a slow start, full of moments of frustration, and annoyance that slowly turned into something more.
This story was full of adventure, surprises, emotions, excitement, overcoming past obstacles.
I love the passion and chemistry, the friendships and of course the spice.
This was another win for this series.
The narrators were both absolute perfection.
Elena Wolfe & Gregory Salinas did a fantastic job bringing all facets of this story and each character to life.

Off the charts tension and chemistry

King of Sloth by Ana Huang was absolutely fantastic! I couldn't get enough of Xavier and Sloane. Their chemistry was off the charts, and their journey kept me hooked from start to finish. Sloane, with her tough exterior, was such an intriguing character, and watching her soften just a bit as the story unfolded was incredibly satisfying. Getting to understand what shaped her into the person she is added so much depth to her character.
Xavier was the perfect counterpart to Sloane. His charm and determination to break through her walls made for some truly memorable moments. Their interactions were filled with tension, passion, and a surprising amount of tenderness. The balance between their personal growth and their developing relationship was spot on.
The Audiobook was amazing! The narrators, Elena Wolf and Gregory Salinas did a stellar job of bringing Xavier and Sloane to life. Their voices perfectly captured the essence of the characters, making the listening experience even more immersive. The emotions, the banter, the intense moments—they nailed it all.
Ana Huang has a real talent for crafting characters you can't help but root for, and King of Sloth is a prime example of that.

Great Story

Loved all of it, how to get past thinking unlovable and unworthy of being capable of more.

Not the best book Ana has written but I enjoyed the performance which made me finish it. The first book is the best one by far

Romance Billionaire Goodness!

Xavier and Sloane gave me laughs and steam and unexpected feels. Xavier riled Sloane up any chance he got and it was pure entertainment. He was a charmer through and through but Sloane was determined not to fall for him. But, behind that charm was so much more. Once she saw the real Xavier, falling became almost impossible. I like the way Ana Huang kept me on my toes, she always has a twist up her sleeve. Sloane was a boss lady who took no stuff from anybody. She understandably had an impenetrable wall built but for those she loved, she’d go to the ends of the earth.

Billionaire, forced proximity, workplace romance…oh yes this one is definitely for you!

Gregory Salinas and Elena Wolfe did a fabulous job bringing this story to life wonderfully with their narration.

King of Sloth

King of Sloth is the 4th book in the Kings of Sin series. This book is about Xavier and Sloane and is told from both of their points of view. I really enjoyed all the books in this series, and this one was no different.

Xavier is a billionaire who is irresponsible with his father's fortune, ad Sloane is his publicist who has to keep him in line.

Xavier wants to get Sloane to break out of her shell. I really enjoyed this book and the banter between both characters. Both characters had growth in this book, and I can't wait to continue on in the series.
